Position Description Manages employees performing the activities of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, preparing and reconciling financial information according to Company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Other Job related information This position reports to the Shared Services Group Senior Manager of Puget Sound Payment Services. This position is responsible for managing the Puget Sound Payment Services accounting and compliance functions. The functions of this organization include supporting financial reporting and reconciliations, audit support, SOx and internal control compliance. Prefer a bachelor's degree in Accounting, with 10 years experience in accounting, or equivalent. Professional certification and/or advanced degree are highly desireable.
