JOB TITLE: Program Manager

About the Program Manager opportunity:
Manage the delivery process of technical projects from solution definition phase to launch and ensures a successful delivery measured by time, cost, and client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures that well-defined requirements are derived from the product and customer requirements, includes ensuring that the deliverables of the project are clearly understood and that there is a well-defined system architecture (in collaboration with the engineering and architecture staff assigned to the project).
2. Understands and works within Motricity’s full product development lifecycle and ensures project documentation is complete and accurate. Controls and coordinates change to the project at the level of requirements, timescales and resources.
3. Drives the planning process by leading cross-functional teams through the planning stages and assembling a high-level project plan. This plan must meet the needs of the customer interface with regards to the functionality and timescales for delivery and within the organization’s capacity to perform.
4. Drives the individual project teams via weekly reports and reviews and, where needed, more detailed interaction. Ensures that the software development deliveries to product verification take place as agreed. Ensures that the developed software is properly deployed in a production environment.
5. Reports periodically on the progress of the project to key stakeholders. Brings actual or potential slips to attention in a timely manner. Presents project status and direction to the customer as needed.
6. Acts as a central point within the project for the escalation and resolution of issues that affect the project activities.
7. Provides project leadership to promote maximum productivity while striving to minimize costs.
8. Analyzes and manages the risks to the project, including mitigation and contingency plans.

§ PMBOK, SW Development Lifecycles
Education & Experience
§ B.S., preferably in a technical discipline
§ 4+ years project management experience
