About the Sr Customer Program Manager opportunity:
This position will provide program leadership across numerous activities in support of a Tier 1 carrier. The ideal candidate must have an "ownership mentality" and be capable of working closely with a Tier 1 customer. It is essential that the candidate is able to communicate effectively with our external customer plus work closely with numerous internal groups within Motricity.
The role of the Sr. Customer Program Manager is to manage the communication and provide guidance in the planning at the program level for both the customer, and the solutions and services team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide ongoing communication/status in support of a Tier 1 carrier.
1. First escalation point for the carrier
2. Lead weekly program status meetings with the carrier.
3. Coordinate regular planning meetings with the carrier
4. Manage external communication with the carrier
i. Review communication by PMs, IT, etc.
ii. Mentor and coach team on effective communication
5. Assist with all carrier communications relative to Root Cause Analysis and Service Level Agreement impact of service disruption events.
1. Work closely with the director of sales, sales engineer, project managers, solution architects, reporting and IT teams.
2. Facilitate and prioritize all sales pipeline request activities.
e. Help provide solutions when the team has competing priorities.
f. Liaison between sales and delivery teams.
g. Act as a customer advocate while balancing the needs and constraints of project team.
Set customer expectations regarding the delivery of projects and change requests and oversee customer communications for major project deployments, including the escalation of any issues relative to effective project completion.
. Provide guidance when project risks are identified, as well as help develop mitigation plans respectively and manage the communication with the customer.
Provide leadership to the team.
Help identify new sales opportunities with our customer.
Administrative account tasks
Assist in the continuous improvement of various internal processes in the areas of program management, project management, budget tracking, application support, IT Operations and release management.
Review each Statement of Work and provide signoff on the business requirements.

§ Wireless carrier or vendor background
§ PMBOK, SW Development Lifecycles
Education & Experience
§ B.S., preferably in a technical discipline
§ MBA preferred
§ 10+ years industry experience; 5+ years project management experience
