Position Description Leads, develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers. Manages, interprets and develops design requirements. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control. Manages, creates, develops and maintains complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements. Validates complex engineering system design and functionality. Leads the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex. Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers. Reviews and assigns work to others. Works under minimal direction. The individual selected for this position must have substantial (10+ Years) experience performing in an Electrical/Electronic Tech Design capacity. Substantial CATIA experience is required (7+ years designing in CATIA). WIRS, VPM and BOGART, skills are also required. The candidate must be a self-starter, who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to transition between different work types and roles. It is essential that the candidate have the ability to communicate with IPT Leaders, Engineers, Factory, Operations Management, and foreign customers and suppliers.

Typical Education/Experience AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
