Senior Director, Total Rewards
LOCATION

SUMMARY
Expedia, Inc. is looking for a Senior Director of Global Total Rewards. Reporting to the EVP, Human Resources, the Senior Director of Global Total Rewards is responsible for leading and executing Expedia’s total rewards strategy to maximize employee attraction and retention through global compensation, benefits, and equity programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive a pay-for-performance culture that ensures employee engagement in our high-performance organization.
• Develop, implement and direct a global Rewards Strategy for executives and non-executive employees globally, supporting organizational design and business strategy.
• Support the Expedia, Inc. Compensation Committee in reviewing the compensation structure of Executive Officers, designing, implementing and administering equity awards and ensuring compliance with relevant rules.
• Develop processes, policies and procedures to ensure competitive employee compensation through the development of salary budgets and structures and short- and long-term incentive programs.
• Plan, develop, and administer benefit programs globally, such as life and health insurance, pension, disability and related programs in line with global philosophy and local practices.
• Manage administration and record-keeping of health and welfare plans, 401(k) plan, leave policies and affirmative action/EEO reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation and benefit laws and regulations.
• Ensure consistent and clear communication throughout the business related to total rewards.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
• A Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or Legal. An advanced degree preferred.
• 10 + years of compensation, benefits, and HRIS experience, preferably in a multi-national, high-tech sector company.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Must have strong skills in strategy, organizational capability, change management, business partnering and employee communications.
• Specific experience with executive compensation and international compensation is required.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, ADA, and FLSA.
• Knowledge of financial, accounting and actuarial concepts for publicly traded companies.
• Ability to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication.
• Business focus, critical thinking, process orientation and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent project management skills.
