Position Description
Expedia is looking for an attorney who has 7+ years of primary practice in labor and employment law, specifically in regulatory compliance, litigation and executive compensation matters.
The position will have primary responsibility for supporting Expedia’s global human resources department on employee relations matters, including the development and interpretation of organizational policy according to law, negotiating contracts and handling disputes and litigation.
This person will work closely with human resources professionals, Company executives and other lawyers in the Expedia Legal and Corporate Affairs department. In addition, the position includes supervision of outside counsel on certain matters.
The ideal candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and work ethic. We are seeking a strong team player and also a self-starter with drive and initiative to thrive in a unique, dynamic, and challenging environment of near constant change and improvement. This position will report to the Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Litigation, and will work closely with the General Counsel.
