Position Description
As the OPM Advertising Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for ad-trafficking for Expedia's Online Partner Marketing team. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Online Partner Marketing and be the technical expert responsible for correctly serving online campaigns. Key responsibilities include managing & tracking campaign delivery, investigating discrepancies, reporting and campaign optimization.
Responsibilities:
* The primary responsibility of the Ad Operations analyst is to manage day-to-day advertising operations. This includes proper implementation of campaigns (ad tags, pixel placement/tracking, spend data), campaign optimization and performance management.
* Troubleshoot and resolve all internal and external issues associated with ad campaigns.
* Effectively leverage the ad-serving platform and Expedia's internal reporting system to report on business performance by ad-campaign and individual placement.
* Implement and maintain Expedia's ad-serving platform: work closely with the web-analytics and datawarehouse teams to ensure tight integration between systems.
* Help develop, implement and document workflow processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Facilitate and maintain ongoing relationships with DoubleClick, Atlas regarding the set-up, execution and reporting of ad campaigns and technology necessary to facilitate them.
Identify, recommend and oversee implementation of tools and systems that will improve online advertising operations, where relevant.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years experience in online advertising in an advertising operations, yield management or traffic coordinator role
* Experience in dealing with online advertising and production processes
* Experience working with the leading online adserving platforms, especially DFA or Atlas, to manage the pre-campaign logistics and post-campaign reporting
* Understanding and experience with ad-tagging infrastructure and strategies
* Experience in re-targeting logistics and strategies preferred.
Detail oriented, with excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
* Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
* Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
Work Experience and Education Guidelines [see above]:
* Bachelor’s degree required
* Minimum of 1-3 years of business experience
* Partner/channel marketing or operations experience a plus
