Leadership Circle Manager
Purpose: Cultivate donors and advance giving along the continuum to reach more people, build a strong organization and make a positive impact in the community

Summary: Working with the VP of Development, this position develops and implements strategies to acquire, upgrade and retain donors of $1,000 and above for the Leadership Giving program, including planning, implementation and evaluation of fundraising operations and special projects. This position manages a portfolio of prospective Leadership Giving donors, and is responsible for promotion and communications (on-air, print and online) for Leadership Giving, and works closely with volunteer leaders supporting the development effort.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Administrative Support
1. Coordinate solicitation mailings for Leadership Circle fundraising events and annual giving campaigns with internal and external designers and vendors
2. Develop copy for solicitation and acknowledgement letters, invitations, programs and campaign materials
3. Create and maintain donor files for Leadership Circle donors
4. Recognize donors with acknowledgement letter, gift receipt and appropriate correspondence
5. Ensure all Leadership Circle donors receive their assigned benefits
II. Fundraise
1. Maintain and supervise stock transfers through communication with brokerage houses and communication with Accounting Department
2. Utilize Raisers Edge through data entry, processing gift donations, running queries for mailings, inputting actions for mass mailings, updating Gift Chart, tracking and maintaining donor information, and running reports
3. Manage development budgets for Channel 9 Store items
III. Collaborate
1. Work with MarCom on events, printed materials, and on-air promotion regarding messaging in written, on-line, and broadcast communications
2. Work with Membership to identify and strengthen donor continuum and promote effective data mining
3. Work with Accounting and Legal on gifts as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
2. Five years of experience in fundraising required
3. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, internet research, and Raiser’s Edge required
4. Event planning experience preferred
5. Regularly report to work as scheduled
