General Managers (GM’s) and Assistant General Managers (AGM’s) at Teavana form a dynamic team that ensures the success of their store and their team members. AGM’s play a supportive role to the GM by helping train team members on successful sales techniques. They both ensure a high level of customer service by being on the sales floor, role modeling the selling process and working with guests to build customer rapport.

Successful candidates should:

1) Be able to role model the Teavana selling process, which includes maintaining a high level of personal sales and coaching and training your sales team while also controlling expenses.

2) Recruit, hire and train a professional selling team to help accomplish the store goals.

3) Balance the first 2 things while successfully completing the operational and administrative parts of the GM role.

Requirements    

GM candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years managing the overall selling and operations culture of a retail store (related mgmt experience may be considered).

AGM candidates should have a minimum of 2 years supervising the overall selling and operations culture of a retail store (related experience may be considered).

All candidates should:
