Job Description:

The Leads Generation Associate is responsible for outbound and inbound business-to-business telesales of assigned product lines and service offerings for barcode and data-collection equipment. Introduces the assigned product offerings, provides relevant details and information, provides quotes, answers questions and closes sales.  This is a great entry-level sales position with opportunity for growth within our top-notch sales team.

 

Essential Functions:


  • Responsible to achieve specific monthly targets for sales of Ryzex products and services.

  • Proactively contacts prospective customers using established leads to 1) introduce assigned products, and provide relevant details, 2) gather pertinent information about customer and specific products currently in use.

  • Negotiates pricing while remaining within established pricing guidelines. Seeks out and receives approval from Manager on any quotes outside of established guidelines.

  • Enters all sales orders in Ryzex proprietary sales database software.

  • Tracks the sale through order picking, shipping and receipt. Ensures products are delivered as expected and on time.

  • Qualifies prospective customers for additional product and service offerings and forwards any sales leads on to an Account Manager.

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining good business relations with customers and external contacts.

  • Ensures that customers are satisfied with product offerings and products received, as well as supported through phone contact.

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with co-workers, management, and Manager.


 

Requirements/Essential Qualifications:

Ability to:


  • Work independently under general supervision; solve problems involving differing situations, requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned and unlearned alternatives. Some analysis and independent judgment is required to determine appropriate courses of action.

  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including ability to listen and disseminate information and communicate to customers and co-workers.

  • Provide accurate, informative and actionable reports in a timely manner.

  • Collect, compile, and analyze information to develop recommendations.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and the Internet as well as other database and CRM systems.


 

Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma or GED required. Specialized training, related college coursework, or certificate preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years previous business-to-business customer service, sales, marketing or sales lead qualification, order/data entry, or related experience required. Experience with client relation via telephone in a sales, customer service or marketing role preferred.

  • Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented.

  • Prior experience in the technology industry a plus.
