About the Sr Sales Operations Analyst opportunity:
This position will be responsible for supporting and providing analytical expertise for the sales organization to facilitate the sales cadence on reporting, metrics, funnel, backlog, trending, salesforce.com entry, strategic selling, compliance, RFP support and sales business reviews.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Using knowledge of company products, services, support and technology, oversees sales operations activities to achieve company goals.
2. Maintains relationship with field personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions.
3. Works with Sales and Finance Departments to develop and administer the company’s worldwide sales forecast using Salesforce.com and other appropriate tools.
4. Responsible for organizing financial modeling and statistical studies for sales department.
5. Track, analyze, and report commissions and incentive earnings.
6. Assist in creating territory/region assignment, structuring incentive plans and setting quotas.
7. Supports the overall RFP process and may assist the sales team in coordinating quality submissions to the RFP process.
REQUIREMENTS:
Functional/Technical Skills:
Knowledge of administrating Salesforce.com
§ Strong technical and analytical skills required
§ Ability to indirectly influence sales team members
§ Ability to use excel, pivot tables, charting, trending, relative metrics of Year over Year, Quarter over Quarter, Month over Month
§ Expense tracking
Education & Experience
§ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar discipline strongly desired
§ 5+ years in a sales analyst/operations role
§ Knowledge of the Wireless Industry or Software Products/Services industry is preferred
