Job Description

You are a detail oriented, self driven, problem solver.  You have an unusual mix of technical and soft skills which throughout your career, has made you a key member of your team and a leader when needed.  Working directly with other technology teams, you consistently deliver on time and to their specification.  Your attention to detail is demonstrated through your work.

Your Next Challenge:

    * Install, configure and maintain externally packaged applications.  Participate in the requirements and selection process of these systems.  Provide Tier 1 support for the systems.
    * Configure security for user access and permissions.
    * Work with Product Owner and key users to define and document system workflows.
    * Implement business workflows using configuration and scripting tools.
    * Specify backup schedules, and health monitoring requirements.
    * Monitor systems (including mission critical 24x7 applications critical to the success of the enterprise) for performance and capacity.

What You’ll Need:

    * Experience in software installation and configuration.
    * Experience with Microsoft Server and Red Hat Linux Server operating systems.
    * Experience with Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN).
    * Must be proficient with performance monitoring and tuning tools.
    * Excellent customer service skills.
    * Strong technical/problem solving skills.
    * Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
    * Assertive in documentation of all server hardware/software.
    * Proven ability to communicate well to management, peers and clients.
    * Self-starter relating to tasks, requests and documentation.
    * Strong skills with Office suite of desktop applications for documenting and presenting information in an effective manner.
