Will serve as a key team member of the Systems Operations team in a lead position and will report directly to the Systems Operations Manager. The position is aimed at delivering sustainable and appropriate computing services through critical projects and sustaining activities that are aligned with the Firm's business functions, goals and objectives. Scope of responsibilities includes project management, evaluation, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and maintenance of network and technology integrated solutions. Provides cross-training to other analysts regarding issues/updates, techniques, technologies and practices within the area of technical focus so other analysts will be able to support these services as necessary.
Must have the ability to execute and troubleshoot network integrated solutions, upgrades and configuration modifications to our existing WAN, LAN, telephony, and wireless network infrastructure. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills both technical and business related, and excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Proven ability to work on and lead cross-functional teams. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with standard systems integration methodologies/lifecycles as applied in a multi-site, distributed computing environment.
Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including 3 years of operational support. A bachelor's degree is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is beneficial.
