Job Description
Who You Are:
Responsible for creating and presenting strategy for improving existing user assistance and executing on that strategy. Optimizes the global customer experience by developing, writing, and editing site copy and/or user assistance demos.and user assistance. Partners with User Experience and Marketing teams and various stakeholders across the business including Developers, PMs, Linguist Team, and cross-functional organizations on projects.
Your Next Challenge:
* Research, analyze, develop & author English site copy and user assistance for web-based publication.
* Create and present strategy for updating site copy (UI, legal, and marketing) in order to optimize user assistance.
* Assist UX Researchers in the creation and hosting of research surveys.
What You'll Need:
* Requires BA/BS degree or equivalent
* 4+ years in technical writing and information design
* Demonstrated experience creating web-based user assistance
* Demonstrated ability to write in multiple styles (e.g. marketing, user assistance)
* 2+ years experience authoring complex XML-based content, including information architecture
* Demonstrated understanding of web site architecture & development
* Experience working in a customer focused global environment
* Writes content that is usable and appropriate for assigned projects
* An understanding and appreciation of web customer and end user requirements
* Computer proficiency with an aptitude for mastering software systems
* Ability to work successfully within a global team
* Outstanding attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
* Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and incorporate qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into customer & end user content
